Volunteer Requirements


  • Must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer (16 & 17 year olds can volunteer with signed waiver)


  • Must be able to commit to schedule volunteer times


  • Must be able to squat, bend, twist, lift, and stand for long periods of time when working directly with the cats in our care


  • Must be able to work well with people-all volunteer positions work directly with the public, staff, and other volunteers


  • Must be able to handle cats safely and compassionately


  • Must be able to take and seek direction and have a self-motivated work ethic


  • Must be able to work independently

 


Location: T-Bar-T Farm Supply, Kaufman, TX


Current Volunteer days available: Monday, Tuesday, and/or Friday Mornings

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours every Monday, Tuesday and/or Friday morning for at least 6 months.


Start time: Need to be available to start shift between 8:30am-9:00am on your designated morning


T-Bar-T Adoption center volunteer duties include the cleaning of living quarters and common spaces (litter boxes and all!); restocking of food and other supplies; giving attention to the kitties! 

We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers!

Volunteers spend time giving love and attention to shy cats, keeping kennels clean, and making sure playful kittens get exercise and toys.
